If you’ve never checked out Daniel Klein’s Perennial Plate web based mini-documentary food series, you’re missing out. The beautifully shot episodes highlight culinary, agricultural, and hunting explorations involving real food and the people who make it. In the most recent episode, titled “The Importance of Being Basque,” Klein visits with a cider producer (Egoitz Zapiain) and a cheese maker (Urtzi Aira Urruzola) to learn about their hand crafted products and, of course, their intense pride in being Basque.
